Vacationing aboard a cruise ship is a great way for you and your partner to spend quality time together. The intimacy of the ship is just as important as on the ship when selecting a vacation on a cruise ship. Almost all extended cruise ships dock in a port and these ports are often located in another country but not always. You will want to consider a cruise line that offers stops in exotic and romantic ports to make the most out of your vacation destination. These ports may include but are not limited to the Hawaii Mexico the Bahamas or other parts of the Caribbean. Hawaii Mexico the Bahamas and the rest of the Caribbean all have a number of cruise ship ports. Additional ports can be found in the Untied States and overseas. What many passengers enjoy most about these particular ports is their climate. Because the climate and the overall weather could have an impact on the romance aboard your ship since tropical weather tends to add to the romance in the air.
Do the math. If one hundred buyers pool resources in exchange for a percentage of ship ownership the acquisition cost will be divided by that same number. One percent ownership of a $250000 cruise ship would cost a mere $2500 for ship acquisition. At the other end of the scale one percent ownership of a brand new mega cruise ship would cost five million dollars. There are some other figures that must be tabulated into the total cost of ownership. Acquisition cost is first and foremost. The next figure is the cost to put the ship in service. On an older ship this cost may be higher than the acquisition cost. On the other hand the cost to put a ship into service can be much lower if you were to get a good deal on a ship that already meets the international standards for ship safety especially SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea).
The close-up show is at my suggestion to the cruise director as it gives me another chance to push my DVDs plus I thoroughly enjoy close-up magic. How many shows you are required to perform depends entirely on the length of cruise. If you are doing the short seven day cruises then more often that not you will only be required to do one full show perhaps maybe another show sharing the bill with another act. On the longer cruises of say twenty four days you can be assured you will need to do two different full shows. This requires a lot of work and it is important that your second show is as strong as the first. Speaking from experience I prefer just to do my one main show as it contains all my number one material rather than try and split it up between two shows. After experimenting with my act I realized how important it is to make sure your first show is very strong that way people will talk about you get to know you and come back for the second. You will hear other entertainers say they have an A and a B show in my opinion if you want a long career in Cruising make sure both your shows are A material. If you can do a close-up show then by all means mention it to the cruise director as it all helps in the long run keeping your name in front of the passengers when they fill in the comment cards. The general rule of thumb is that you will do your main show twice in one night.
In addition to Blue Man Group the NCL Epic showcased \"Legends In Concert\" which featured impersonated performances by Elvis Madonna Tina Turner Michael Jackson and other \"super-stars\". If you like this sort of thing you will probably enjoy it very much. Otherwise you may find it to be \"OK\" as I did. Another Epic \"first\" is Cirque Dreams and Dinner which is performed by an exceptionally talented group of acrobats in a special theater-in-the-round called the Spiegel Tent. Several of our staff members saw this show and said that it was very good but perhaps a bit too long. My wife and I saw a very different show in the Spiegel Tent. Our 3-year-old granddaughter who we were able to bring with us is a big fan of \"Dora the Explorer\" and \"Diego\" and she just loved the Nickelodeon character breakfast which in addition to Dora and Diego also featured \"Sponge Bob Square Pants\" \"Jimmy Neutron\" and others. In an exclusive deal with NCL the Nickelodeon characters are presently appearing on the Epic and the NCL Jewel (which now sails year-round out of New York City) and will eventually appear on several other NCL ships.
